Comments:

The neon lights of this advertisement against the black background not only refer to the lightness of the cigarette, but also allude to a bar scene. This spurs an association between Salem Lights and bars, drinks, and fun with friends, especially influential for a younger demographic. Additionally, the sex appeal of the full, red lips should not be overlooked. The mentholated aspect of the cigarette is emphasized by the neon green shades used for the text.

Keywords:

Health, Light, Menthol, Tar
