This comic advertisement depicts two women trying to one-up each other by bragging about their husbands’ choice in cigarettes. Each woman claims her husband has switched to a new brand that doesn’t irritate his throat. In the end, it turns out both husbands are smoking Old Golds. The comic was illustrated by Clare A. Briggs (1875-1930).
