“Junior” gets riled up in the stands and dumps his ice cream cone on his father’s head during a tense part of a baseball game. Dad doesn’t look too pleased, but darling mother offers her husband an Old Gold to calm him down. The ad was illustrated by Dorothy Monet (1919-2010), one of a small handful of female advertisement illustrators of the time.
