Comments:

A disgruntled man is up to his ears in snow due to a skiing “slip-up” as a beautiful young woman glides to a stop next to him and offers him an Old Gold to keep him from being “irritated.” This ad was illustrated by Clark Agnew (1905-1959) who began his career in print assignments, and then progressed to television advertising; he created the dancing female Old Gold packs with beautiful legs for television and co-authored the book Television Advertising (1958). He sometimes signed his work “Ian Mansfield.”
