This 60,000 Doctors campaign for the California Prune & Apricot Growers Association's Sunsweet Prunes is very similar to Lucky Strike's 20,679 Physicians campaign. Just as many contemporary cigarette ads tout doctors prescribing their brand of cigarettes, this ad claims that doctors prescribe prunes to their patients. Often, the food and candy industries used very similar ad campaigns as tobacco companies.
