Comments:

The doctors in this ad are dramatized and are compared to “big game hunters” – on a microscopic level. In the background, what appears to be a safari hat hangs on a bamboo rod, further romanticizing the doctor’s profession. They are presented as brave and intent on “finding the cause” of a disease “and combating it.” The ad hopes readers will see this aspect to the doctors, and assume that doctors would not smoke Camels if cigarettes were something that caused disease and needed to be combated.
