Ronald Reagan’s cigarette ads demonstrate the deep infiltration of smoking culture in America. Reagan was first an actor before becoming President of the United States, and his Chesterfield and cigar ads also promote his current movies. Reagan eventually quit smoking after his brother developed cancer of the larynx.
