The first image with the red background is from the cover of a magazine called Fredowsi from the July 7th, 1964 issue. Ferdowsi was a pre-Islamic Revolution weekly magazine published to advocate for a new era of awaking about refining the Iranian Society with a greater emphasis on “Iranianness” and Iran culture. In search of a new Iranian identity, particularly in a more literary form, this issue projects what food is Iranian, (which is Abgosht), what bread is Iranian (which is sangag), and what cigarette is Iranian (which is Oshno). While in the headline it says: “Become the pure Iranian”.
