Quote:

Whether they say As a cigarette Should or Like a cigarette should! most everyone agrees that Winston does taste good! There's rich, hearty flavor in this cigarette! And Winston's exclusive, snow-white filter does its job so well that the fine, full flavor comes through to you, For thoroughly enjoyable smoking, get Winston!

Comments:

“Snow White” filter was meant to turn brown as it was being smoked. Snow white refers to pureness. English professors objected to Winston’s slogans as being grammatically incorrect. It should be “As” rather than be “Like”. The professor should be telling these students to put out their cigarettes but instead he looks like he is asking for one or encouraging them.

College, man, teacher, university, woman, young adult
