Doctors report: In a recent test of hundreds of people who smoked only Camels for 30 days, noted throat specialists, making weekly examinations, reported not one single case of throat irritation due to smoking Camels.

Comments:

This advertisement invites the reader to smoke Camels exclusively for 30 days to discover their mildness and flavor. The advertisement makes use of six celebrity testimonials, while advertising the new Cole Porter and Patricia Morison motion picture, “Kiss Me, Kate.” Also included are two non-celebrity testimonials, one from a secretary and one from a big-game fisherman, which show readers that Camels are not only meant for celebrities; they can be enjoyed by working men and women, too. Additionally, the advertisement cites the results of a study conducted by throat specialists on “hundreds of people” who participated in the 30-day Mildness Test: “Not one single case of throat irritation due to smoking Camels.” Finally, an image representing the “T-zone” (“T for Throat, T for Taste”) from past Camel advertisements is included as a reminder of the superiority of Camel cigarettes.
