Quote:

Proof? It's in the first package and your throat can be judge and jury.

Comments:

In this ad, Lorillard portrays Old Golds as a cold prevention tool to be used during chilly winter months. The phrase “THEY’RE KINDER TO YOUR THROAT” is written across an image of two elegant men smoking in the snow. Old Gold encourages the consumer to let “your throat” be the “judge and jury.” Though the image portrays two men, the copy text includes women in the target audience by mentioning their handbags – a common place for cigarettes.

Keywords:

Cough, Health, Throat
