In Aerial acrobatics- and in smoking too, says Rose Gould, aerial sensation of the Big Top.

Comments:

French aerialist Rose Pahin, stage name Rose Gould, provides the celebrity testimonial in this comic-style Camel advertisement. Her breathtaking daredevil aerial stunts shocked Ringling Barnum Circus audiences nationwide. Her stunt group, the Rose Gould Trio, also included her two male partners, friend Bernard Zenner and husband Andre Pahiti, She is pictured smoking a Camel in the last frame, tying her athletic skill and bravery to smoking. This advertisement uses her celebrity testimonial to convince the consumer to try Camels, but it employs the “T-Zone” campaign to provide the consumer with the illusion of autonomy.
