Consider your Knee Cap!, Don't Rasp Your Wife's Throat with Harsh Irritants, Reach for a Hatchet Instead, They're Hash Browned, Purified by Hot Air and Advertising Rays

Comments:

This ad pokes fun at contemporaneous Lucky Strike advertisements. It hawks “Ducky Wucky” cigarettes, rather than Lucky Strikes. Rather than being toasted, they are “hash browned” and “purified by hot air and advertising rays.” This latter comment indicates that the spurious health claims made by Lucky Strike were transparent to some.
