The same 20% to 50% extra tobacco through which Fleetwood's smoke is filtered, not only reduces the nicotine in the smoke, but also reduces in the smoke those tars that stain fingers and teeth!

Comments:

This ad for Fleetwood cigarettes touts “less nicotine,” “less tar stain,” and “less throat irritants.” Like many tobacco ads, Fleetwood advertises its cigarette as modern, and thus healthier: it claims to use “a modern moisture-retaining agent which does not produce acrolein.” Modern technology and scientific advancements, usually fake ones, are cited often in cigarette advertisements to fool consumers into believing a cigarette is more advanced, healthier, and safer than “old” cigarettes.
