Quote:
Even a sword-swallower can tell Old Golds are easier on the throat. My roles don't call for swallowing swords, knives or razor blades, but I value my vocal apparatus, so I smoke only mild, smooth, throat-easy Old Golds.

In his earlier years he did not drink much but as loneliness set in due to his traveling schedule he began to drink.
