This comic-style ad features a testimonial from American operatic soprano Dorothy Kirsten (1910-1992). The ad tells the story of Kirsten’s road to fame, forgetting Camels until the last frame in which Kirsten she says that Camels have a “mildness” that she loves. Kirsten performed her Metropolitan Opera debut performance in 1945; she remained at the Met for 30 years. She passed away from complications of a stroke in 1992.
