Tiparillo is not men only it is men mainly., Moreover, there's the exclusive veinless Ultra Cigar Wrapper
Tiparillo ran this campaign – “Should a gentleman offer…” from 1967 to 1969. The ads portrayed these women, who would normally be seen as independent, as loose women who would be easily swayed by the offer of a Tiparillo.
Most of the Tiparillo ads were overtly sexual in their imagery. This ad is a bit more subtle. The man is seen with the erect Tiparillo sticking out of his mouth as the woman leans into the frame and eyes the box of Tiparillos. Words like “satisfying,” “blending,” “veinless”, and “burns” offer undeniably sexy connotations to the copy text, while the sentence, “And that new pliable, pearly tip pays more than just lip service to your smoking pleasure,” reads more like a dirty romance novel than a tobacco advertisement.
This advertisement targets young men by providing them with a ladies’ man role model and a subliminal association between sex and Tiparillos.
