Comments:

This advertisement oozes with romance, and is reminiscent of a Spanish telenovela. It recommends Winston as the perfect Christmas gift, and makes it seem as if the couple pictured is experiencing this romantic moment as a direct result of Winston cigarettes. The text at the top of the image translates roughly to: “This Christmas movie results from giving genuine American flavor.” The text at the bottom: “This month, a lot of gifts need to be given. And sometimes, no one knows which is the best gift to choose. If she wants genuine American flavor, think Winston. It is a gift with personality that people always like to receive. This holiday season, before buying anything, think Winston. It is a gift that will make you get on film.”
