Comments:

This domestic advertisement targets young couples. In the first image, the woman welcomes her husband home from work and takes his coat from him. In the next image, they are relaxing on the couch, and she offers him a Winston. Finally, they are both pictured smoking their Winston cigarettes and enjoying a magazine, the company of their family dog, and a few cups of strong coffee. They represent ideal married life, which is supplemented by the activity of smoking cigarettes together. Winston is advertised here as having a filter that “works so well the flavor really gets through to you.”
