Comments:

The fashion-forward woman and her matching fiancé gaze in appreciation at her brand new engagement ring. “Something NEW has been added!” to her finger as well as to Old Gold cigarettes, the add explains. The new tobacco blend found in Old Gold cigarettes is described as having “small heart-shaped leaves” which will “impart new life and zest” to its smokers, much like a new love. Though the Old Gold blend is “new,” the advertisement solidifies it is already a part of longstanding tradition by attaching itself to one of life’s happiest milestones.
