There's something about them you'll like, Discriminating People Prefer Herbert Tareyton. , The cork tip doesn't stick to the lips.

Comments:

Starting in the 1920s, tobacco companies featured endorsements from society women to demonstrate the luxury and glamour of their brand of cigarettes. Here, thirty years later, Miss Barbara Cromwell, touted as a “beautiful, young member of one of Baltimore’s most distinguished families,” endorses Herbert Tareyton as her cigarette preference. In the background, a newly wedded couple walks alongside a lake shore. Barbara, in her enormous pink gown and white bouquet, stands alone in the foreground. Herbert Tareyton, her choice of cigarette, is also her choice of partner at the wedding (there is even a small depiction of the dapper fellow in the lower right-hand corner). While her friend has a new husband, she has Herbert. The emphasis on being distinguished and discriminating appeals to women who seek a more luxurious lifestyle.
