Comments:

One of life’s milestones is accompanied by Chesterfield cigarettes in this advertisement. A newly married couple rides away from their wedding in a limousine. As the groom holds his wife’s hand, he offers her a Chesterfield. This advertisement aligns itself with longstanding tradition to normalize its presence in everyday life. The limo driver glances at the Chesterfield pack through the rolled down passenger window as he shuts the door, longing for the same happiness and “satisfaction” the newlyweds have found in each other and in Chesterfield.
