Comments:

Here, a woman offers a Lucky Strike cigarette to a man at the apex of a clear, snowy mountain, as he helps her into her skis before he straps on his own. As he secures her into her skis, the woman offers him a cigarette, which he happily reaches up to accept. The gesture of accepting the cigarette from the woman mirrors the action of a man offering a woman an engagement ring. The man pictured appears in the image in the kneeling position, as if he were going to ask for the woman’s hand in marriage. Here, Lucky Strike is again presented as being synonymous with romance. The pristine skies and snowy mountain top, coupled with the woman’s white snow suit present Lucky Strikes as pure and “light.”
