Quote:

He's learned that a woman appreciates a man with Pipe Appeal- that extra something that distinguishes a pipe smoker. And he knows that with Prince Albert in his pipe, he's got a mild, tasty smoke.

Comments:

As with the other ads that target youth, demonstrating attractiveness to the opposite sex is a key strategy. Pipe-smoking is more commonly associated with men than women, so this ad is directed towards males. Like the Chesterfield university student ads, the man featured is what university students want to be and what younger boys aspire to some day become; he is not only social and attractive to beautiful women, he is also intelligent and he has “learned” that pipe appeal helps him achieve these things.

Keywords:

College, Female, Male, man, romance, Teen, woman, young adult
