The best of the lights

Comments:

The neon lights of this advertisement against the black background not only refer to the lightness of the cigarette, but also allude to a bar scene. This spurs an association between Salem Lights and nightlife (bars, drinks, and fun with friends). especially influential for a younger demographic. The addition of the couple furthers the correlation between cigarettes and a good time out on the town. The mentholated aspect of the cigarette is emphasized by the neon green shades used for the text.
