Here's a lesson in choosing a cigarette, too! Like Miss Fairbrother, countless smokers have tried different brands- and compared- for full flavor and coolsmoking mildness.

Comments:

This ad combines the “T-Zone” campaign with the “More Doctors Smoke Camels” and “Experience is the Best Teacher” campaigns. With all of these techniques, the ad attempts to simultaneously provide the consumer with a sense of independence and autonomy – a common tactic in cigarette advertising, even today – while also providing reassurance and recommendation from doctors and celebrities. Here, diver “Jim” Fairbrother endorses Camels. Jim was one of three well-known diving sisters from Miami, Florida. The other two also had cute, short names: “Pat” and “Skip.” Their father was the famous jockey Charlie Fairbrother.
