Cary Grant (1904 - 1986) As an English actor Cary was known for his debonair demeanor and handsome looks. He was named the Second Greatest Males Star of All time by the American Film Institute following Humphrey Bogart. After Cary arrived in Iowa in 1986 for a performance he began to feel ill and refused to call a doctor as he did not want to miss the performance. He passed away that night from a stroke.
