Quote:

The gentleman with the Parliament will have quite a tale to tell when he gets home. For now he knows that even mermaids know that there's something special about Parliaments.

Comments:

This tan, shirtless deep sea diver swims up to a mermaid at the bottom of the ocean. The woman, or mermaid, is elegant. She sports a golden dress, reminiscent of the Parliament box, and a necklace made of cigarettes. Her golden seahorse companion has fins that are made of Parliaments as well. She eyes the man’s “Parliament lure” with temptation. It’s nice to know that Parliaments are so water-proof! Each of the ads in this campaign features a woman with a large, blue, decorative beauty mark on her cheek. The slogan, “only the flavor touches your lips!” markets Parliaments as a cigarette with a unique recessed filter, which also speaks to the slogan, “You’re so smart to smoke Parliaments,” as the filter was advertised as making Parliaments a safer, more conscientious cigarette.
