Quote:

Pall Mall's natural mildness is so good to your taste!

Comments:

By referencing nature, both through the words “natural mildness” and the image of the fresh, green grass, this advertisement emphasizes the unfiltered taste of Pall Mall cigarettes. These print-ads come with a matching television commercial which features a woman laying in the grass, relaxing with a cigarette as a narrated voice reads text almost identical to that of the print-ad. At the end of the commercial, a man joins the woman in the grass, and her face lights up with joy. This campaign targets women who want to relax while appearing alluring.

Keywords:

Female, grass, outdoors, sex appeal, woman, young adult
