Go ahead, smoke any cigarette you like! The irritants trapped in the Denicotea crystal filter never reach your nose, throat and lungs. Your mouth feels fresher, your cigarette tastes better.

Comments:

This advertisement for a filtered cigarette holder touts health claims that the “crystal filter” guarantees nicotine and tar will “never reach your nose, throat and lungs.” An otolaryngologist holds up a DiNicotea filter cigarette holder containing a cigarette. The ad also features a before and after picture – the filter pure white before use, and stained with tar after use. The fact that the filter has been stained with tar is supposed to prove that the filter prevents any of these tars from entering your throat, though obviously this is not proof in the slightest.
