Yes, experience during the war shortage taught millions the difference in cigarette quality.

Comments:

This advertisement features a testimonial from Dorothy Newstead, who caught a 69-pound yellow-bellied cobia, landing her the International Women’s All-Tackle Record for Cobia. She explains that Camels are her favorite, and that her experience during “the war shortage” helped her, and “millions of other smokers,” come to this realization. The skilled fisherwoman can evidently troll for the big one with only her left hand on the rod and reel, the other holding her lit Camel.
