Sometimes there is just no rest at all for him - even on Christmas eve. Blizzard or heat wave December or July near or far early or late no mater when you call, he comes.

Comments:

This ad reads more like an advertisement for the US Postal Service than for a cigarette – “No matter when you call, he comes!” The doctor is presented as self-sacrificing. If he is willing to leave his warm, family home – all decked out for the holidays – on Christmas Eve to make a house call, then he clearly has his patients’ best interests at heart. When placed beside the fact that he, like the doctors surveyed, smokes Camels, the ad leaves readers no choice but to think that cigarettes must not be so bad after all.
