Comments:

This ad shows a handsome doctor making a house call on an elderly woman. As he checks his watch to notice their appointment has far exceeded its limit, she holds him back, and with her raised finger she is saying something to the handsome doctor – perhaps, “Have I got a granddaughter for you!” The ad positions the doctor as “part of the family,” as particularly trustworthy. Note that the M and D, the first letters of the first two words, are accentuated in red, reinforcing the associated cigarette with medical prestige.

Keywords:

Doctor, Elderly, Family, Female, Irritation, Male, Mild, Throat
