Comments:

The Playboy cigar was was commissioned as an extension of the Don Diego brand by the men's entertainment magazine, Playboy, famous for their nude “centerfolds.” This advertisement shows the silhouette of a curvaceous woman, described as “full-bodied perfection,” just like the cigar itself. Around her thigh is a colored cigar band which matches that of the Don Diego cigar, further comparing the woman to the cigar. The objectification of women in this advertisement not-so-subtly pairs cigars with sex.

Keywords:

Female, Playboy, sex appeal, Youth
